15,000 Sailings for Steam Packet Vessell
The Steam Packet company’s vessel Ben-My-Chree completed its 15,000th journey on Friday across the Irish Sea.
The landmark sailing departed Douglas for Heysham at 8.45am.
The trustworthy vessel has a reliability rate of 99%, and has covered nearly 900,000 miles since coming into service in 1998.
It’s earned itself the
status as being on the Steam Packet’s most reliable vessel’s in their 179 year
history.
