Bell angry following Chancellor's outburst

The Chief Minister has reacted angrily to claims that the Isle of Man owes hundreds of millions in unpaid UK tax.

The British Chancellor made the claim recently saying the vast figure is an accumulation from the crown dependencies and their different systems of taxation.

No definitive figure is known however Rushen MHK Laurence Skelly will be seeking to find out more in Tuesday’s Tynwald. 

George Osborne said the total sum owed by UK residents who bank in the Isle of Man and Channel Islands was £1billion.

Allan Bell says the antagonistic nature of his statement surprised him given the amount of good work carried out between the island and the city of London (AUDIO ABOVE):
