The revival of a once-popular carnival in the South of the Island takes place this weekend.
Port St Mary Beach Day - which takes place on Saturday, August 4 - is a throwback to the Port St Mary Carnival of the 70s and 80s.
Glenys Brunt, of Port St Mary Commissioners' Events Committee, says it'll be a 'magical' event.
It will be held from midday on the village beach and lower promenade and will feature beach games, spectator events and a dog competition.
