An Island charity says it was confronted with a smelly problem yesterday - after someone dumped rotting shellfish in its litter bins.
Beach Buddies took to Facebook after the incident, saying it happened at Glen Mooar, just south of Kirk Michael.
An orange net bag full of whelks was left in the bin around a week earlier, leading to a vile stench which volunteers say could be smelled 30 yards away.
The organisation is asking people to think twice next time, saying its bins are for litter collected from the beach.
