Battle of Trafalgar hero's house on market for £3.5 million

There's a chance to live in a piece of Manx history - with a mansion owned by famous historical figures up to buy in the west of the Island.

The Whitehouse in Michael dates to the 1700s and is the former home of Napoleon's jailer Mark Wilks and Captain Quilliam, first lieutenant on HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar.

The mansion, which is on the protected buildings register, comes with its own swimming pool and 267 acres of land around it.
