Barclaycard has confirmed that an email telling Manx customers that their cards would be cancelled was sent by mistake.
Those with the bank were told that they’d no longer be able to use their cards from the end of May unless they could provide a UK residential address.
Barclaycard has now apologised to customers on the Isle of Man that may have been incorrectly informed that their accounts would be closed.
It confirms that there will be no change to the service.
