A Pulrose teenager who fled police after being spotted driving while banned will be sentenced later this year.
19 year old Daniel Shane Philip Friel of Heather Crescent appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
He admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance after officers saw him driving on Peel Road in Douglas on April 4 - he left his car in a retail park and ran off.
Friel was bailed to appear again for sentencing on October 1.
A charge of failing to give information to police against his 45 year old father Martin Friel of Mona Drive was withdrawn by the prosecution.
