Allowing a banned driver to borrow a van has cost a Douglas man £570.
65 year old Thomas Anthony Holohan of Farvane Link admitted allowing someone with no driving licence or insurance to use his vehicle.
Magistrates heard the man had asked to run an errand in the Ford Transit on February 27 - and was caught out when police stopped him on Whitebridge Road in Onchan.
Holohan was also given six penalty points on his licence.
