A man's been handed a probation order after he drove while over the limit with children in a van.
Paul Bollon of Heather Crescent, Douglas, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 38 year old admitted drink driving and being drunk in charge of a child on September 3 last year.
The court heard he'd been to Port Erin but was spoken to by police while parked on the New Castletown Road.
Tests showed he was almost twice the drink drive legal limit.
Magistrates handed him a 12-month probation order, banned him from driving for two years and ordered him to pay £300 costs.
