Plans for work on the Balthane roundabout in Ballasalla will be raised in the House of Keys this week.
When MHKs gather, Arbory Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will ask Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood about the junction.
He wants to know how much coal tar will be put under the roundabout and how the DOI plans to prevent possible environmental problems.
The House of Keys is due to sit from 10am on Tuesday, November 25.
