Ballasalla Medical Centre is removing over 700 patients who live outside of its catchment area.
The move comes in a bid to make 'more appointments,' as the number of patients continues to grow due to developments in the local area.
The practice reports that the affected patients will be removed on February 28, and it will mostly impact those in the Port Erin and Port St Mary areas.
Patients will be written to this week and information on who to contact with any queries is listed in the letter.
