The entirety of the Ballamodha straight has been closed after a crash.
Police say emergency services are the way to the road and it will remain shut until 3pm.
They are asking people to avoid the area during this time.
Officers also warn that road conditions are poor around the Island so drivers should take extra care on their journeys.
