A General Election candidate says he's decided to stand because it's time the 'Freedom to Flourish' motto actually happened on the Isle of Man.
Company director Alan Kermode has declared as an independent candidate in Ayre and Michael ahead of September's vote.
He says he thinks 'prudent management' is needed coupled with 'encouragement of enterprise' and says he wants to be part of the 'management and decision making team that is government'.
