The Manx Hedgehog Conservation Society said it's received a number of reports of hogs waking early, probably because of the mild winter.
A spokesman explained the creatures now need to gradually increase their heart rate, which means they may be found soaking up the sun on pavements and roads.
The charity is asking people to be keep an eye out and, if they visit your garden, to feed them cat or dog food and water.
