Ronaldsway Record Poor Figures for August
The poor August weather has been to blame
for a downturn in passenger figures at Ronaldsway.
Well figures weren’t drastically down, but there was a recorded drop of over 3,600 passengers on the same month of last year.
This has been blamed on both the poor summer weather, and of course the economic downturn.
The news has been met with concern by airport officials who were convinced they’d seen the worst of the month on month decreases.
With talks of an Indian summer on the horizon and increased routes to and from popular destinations it’s hoped things will improve in the coming months.
