Police are appealing for information after an attempted theft at the Grandstand in the early hours of this morning.
Just after 3 o'clock this morning (Tuesday) slits have been cut in to a tent in the Paddock area in an attempt to steal clothing.
They fled the scene due to an alarm going off prompting the owner and the police to arrive at the scene.
Officers are urging anybody with information to contact them.
Police are reminding people that they should be aware that traders have taken steps to protect their stock and the tents are not an easy target.
