Isle of Man Bank and Natwest have confirmed its branch and offices at Athol Street have 'had to close unexpectedly until further notice'.
In a text to customers, the banks have apologised for any inconvenience cause.
It adds people will be told when they're able to re-open.
No further information has been given at this time - 3FM has reached out for comment.
However, there are reports a fire engine was outside the premises earlier today.
