Douglas North MHK David Ashford has been appointed the Island's new health minister.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle confirmed the appointment this lunchtime.
Mr Ashford replaces Kate Beecroft who resigned from the Department of Health and Social Care last week.
He was elected to the House of Keys in 2016 and this will be his first ministerial job.
