Arsonists in Malew could have been exposed to asbestos.
At around 7pm yesterday someone set fire to a derelict building on the football ground.
It was surrounded by Heras fencing which clearly displayed a warning sign for asbestos.
Police say whoever set fire to the building may have been exposed to airborne asbestos fibres and should seek medical attention.
Anyone who knows who is responsible has been asked to contact Castletown Police Station.
