The head of the Island's arts body has backed calls for a national cultural centre - and says it's something his organisation is working on.
Geoff Corkish, chairman of the Isle of Man Arts Council, was in Tynwald last week when Garff MHK Daphne Caine suggested a national arts facility was needed.
She said often, arts are the 'poor relation' to sports funding and that more investment in culture was needed.
Mr Corkish says the Arts Council is hopeful such an objective could be achieved in future:
House of Keys to sit for final time before election
Island cyclist to ride in Tour De France
Police appeal over promenade street brawl
Well-known farm in the west up for sale
Pet foodbank needs your help!
How much cash can government raise in 10 days, asks MHK
LegCo considers meeting on a different day
Extra promenade bus facilities would cost estimated £735k
