Armed police callouts have risen by two-thirds in just three years, according to a Freedom of Information response.
Advocate Ian Kermode asked for data covering the last five years.
In its response, the Isle of Man constabulary said in 2021 and 2022 there had been 27 incidents which needed armed officers.
However, last year that figure had jumped to 45.
