Armed officers are currently dealing with an incident in Douglas, resulting in road closures.
The Constabulary says officers are dealing with a matter at Quines Corner, with roads in the area now closed and pedestrian access restricted from the Quay.
Lord Street is also closed at its junction with Railway Hill and also at the junction with Ridgeway Street, and access from Barrack Street to Lord Street has been stopped.
Further, the junction at the bottom of Railway Hill and North Quay has been closed.
