The remains of buildings up to 3,000 years-old have been discovered at the Dandara site in Ballasalla.
The discovery comes after the developers hired an archaeological team to investigate.
The material found was said to have been heavily damaged by farming activity.
In a report, archaeologists said there's nothing left to preserve or see, concluding there's no reason why Dandara shouldn't continue building on the site.
