The Clerk of Arbory and Rushen Commissioners, Phil Gawne, has announced he's retiring.
The former Rushen MHK and minister says he'll leave at the start of the next financial year.
He's been the clerk to the local authority since 2017.
Mr Gawne says he'll spend more time on his passions - his family and the Manx language.
