A man will be sentenced in April after admitting assaulting five police officers in four days.
Sean Peter Maunders of Quines Corner in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to assaulting three officers on February 28 and two more on March 2.
Prosecutor Barry Swain told the court Maunders had turned violent on both occasions after officers were called to do a welfare check at his home address.
In February, police had to force entry into his home and Maunders met them holding a knife - he was tasered and sprayed with incapacitant but butted one officer in the chest and kicked two in the legs as he was being carried to a vehicle.
In March, he kicked out at officers again after he was arrested following admissions he'd made about an unrelated incident.
Magistrates bailed him to an address in Cedar Grove in Pulrose in the sum of £500 and he'll appear in court again for sentencing on April 21.
