An Island telecoms company has applied for permission to build a 120 foot high transmitter mast overlooking Douglas.
Bluewave Communications says it needs top put up the structure at the Carnane site to develop its services on the Island.
The company, which owns the site, says it would also put up a small service building and security fencing.
The 40-metre mast would have a warning light on top and stand near an existing transmitter.
