Police are appealing for witnesses after an argument between two people in St Paul's Square in Ramsey.
It happened yesterday between 6.15pm and 6.45pm near to St Paul's Bookshop.
A female was seen in an argument with a man which resulted in her hitting him.
Anyone who saw what happened has been asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
