Police are appealing for the driver of a silver Vauxhall to come forward after they hit another vehicle but left the scene.
The incident happened at Lhergy Cripperty in Douglas just before 3pm on Tuesday.
The car hit a red Ford Fiesta heading towards Peel Road - a white van driver stopped and said the Vauxhall had stopped around the corner but it had gone when the Fiesta driver checked.
