An annual Island service to remember the founder of the RNLI will take place next week.
The event to commemorate Sir William Hillary will be held on Sunday, January 12, and will be conducted by the Archdeacon of Man, the Venerable Andrew Brown.
It will also be attended by Lieutenant Governor, Sir Richard Gozney - lifeboat crew at Douglas station are inviting anyone who supports the work teams do to attend.
It's due to get underway on the day at 3pm at St George's Church in the Island capital.
