Andreas Commissioners has had equipment for a new play area delivered.
The local authority says ‘generous’ donations has helped cover the costs and is hoping to do more fundraising.
It previously agreed not to use rates to pay for the play area and received a private donation as well as £500 from Ayre United.
It’s estimated to cost £85,000 and could feature a wheelchair accessible roundabout, swings, a slide and a climbing frame.
