Firefighters in the North of the Island were mobilised after a fire broke out at a house in Andreas.
Crews from Ramsey and Laxey were called to the scene at around 9.45pm on Monday night where they found a faulty log burner to be the cause of the flames.
Teams removed the burner and cut away the dry wall to extinguish the fire with hose reels.
Emergency personnel were at the scene for around 90 minutes to make sure the home was safe.
