Ambulance Service Appealing to Public to become Community First Responders
The Ambulance Service have launched a major recruitment drive looking for Community First Responders for the West of the Island.
The Community First Responders would be trained up to respond to incidents in their local area as they await the ambulance crew.
The volunteers would go through a two week training course before they became an official CFR.
The team are recruiting today at St John's Mill, where they will be based until 4pm.
Chief Ambulance Officer Steve Sieling has said it's a worthwhile scheme to sign upto as the skills learnt could prove to be valuable in you're everyday life:
