An amber weather warning has been issued for this evening for coastal overtopping.
The Ronaldsway Met Office says Shore Road as well as Douglas, Castletown, Ramsey and Laxey Promenades are likely to be affected.
Severe winds are expected to cause rough seas and therefore ‘moderate’ coastal overtopping.
The warning is in place between 4:30-8pm.
