An amber weather warning for 'coastal overtopping' has been issued for the Isle of Man today (Thursday).
It's in place from midday until 16:00 this afternoon.
The Met Office said we can expect to see strong to gale force winds developing over the next few hours.
Overtopping is likely to affect promenades in Douglas, Castletown. Laxey and Ramsey.
It's also expected to be an issue on Shore Road in Rushen and, to a lesser extent, Fenella Beach in Peel.
