Amber and yellow weather warnings are in force across the Island during today.
The amber warning for coastal overtopping is in place until 3.15pm this afternoon, with promenades in Douglas, Laxey, Castletown and Ramsey as well as Shore Road in Rushen the most likely to be affected.
Meanwhile, a yellow notice for gale force winds across the Island will be in effect until 2pm.
