Almost £100,000 has been spent so far on plans for the proposed new Castle Rushen High School development.
That's according to Education Minister Julie Edge, after being asked about the cost by Speaker of the House of Keys, Juan Watterson.
There have so far been three feasibility or masterplan studies carried out, with the strategic approach 'currently being finalised.'
Ms Edge says the department can provide a further update on the development in the coming weeks.
