Almost a quarter of the Island is receiving a state pension, according to figures from the Treasury.
A Freedom of Information request asked how many people get the state retirement pension and newer Manx state pension, as well as how many get the Manx Pension supplement.
In its response, the Treasury said in February 20,651 people were getting a pension, with 15,139 on the state retirement pension.
In total, 14,560 were given the Manx Pension Supplement.
In 2023, the government said 84,530 people lived on the Island - making 24.4 per cent of the population pensioners.
