The Secretary of the House of Keys has so far received two proposals for the Island’s next Chief Minister.
Dr Alex Allinson and Alfred Cannan have been put forward for the role by MHKs Dr Michelle Haywood and Clare Barber – any further proposals must be made before 5pm this evening.
The candidates must then write a statement specifying their policies if they were to be appointed, which must be submitted by Thursday October 7.
The Isle of Man’s new Chief Minister will be nominated on Tuesday October 12.
