More people are being treated successfully for alcohol abuse on the Island.
A recent survey estimated that over 10,000 people are affected by alcohol problems locally.That follows a damning report in 2009 which put the Island's teen binge drinking statistics amongst the worse in the UK.
Government vowed to tackle the problem - Lindsey Smart from addiction service Motiv8 says despite it still being an issue things are improving:
