Manx Utilities chair John Wannenburgh says the effect a windfarm in the south of the Island might have on airport radar has been studied.
In Tynwald this week he faced questions about Ronaldsway's planned new primary radar systems.
Mr Wannenburgh said the organisation had been in close contact with the Department of Infrastructure about turbines planned for Cair Vie.
And he said the issues had been looked at during early studies:
