Plans to charge for short-stay car parking at the airport are ‘reasonable’.
That’s according to the Department of Infrastructure which says it has looked at the charges and facilities at other commercial airports in comparison.Under new plans drivers would be charged £1 to park for the first hour. A drop-off facility in front of the terminal would remain in place.
The public have been asked to comment on the proposed changes – anyone who wishes to do so has until Sunday.
