New statistics show a six per cent increase in the number of people using the airport.
Figures from June show that over 75,000 passengers passed through Ronaldsway – that’s 4,600 more than in the same month in 2012.
The increase in traffic is being attributed to the London City route which was restarted in May with over 3,500 people using it in June.
There were also increases on the air links to Ireland and the south west of England although Manchester, Blackpool and Luton all struggled.
