This afternoon’s Manannan sailing was returned to Douglas due to a medical emergency.
That’s according to the Steam Packet company, who says the 3pm journey resumed its crossing to Liverpool at around 4:20pm.
Crew worked with emergency services and paramedics treated the patient on board and then transferred them to the ambulance to be taken to hospital.
No further details are available at this time.
