A local advocates has launched a grant scheme to go to a research project about the Island's environment, culture, history or society.
Corlett Bolton will offer £5,000 to a single project, which should cover a topic in one of those areas.
UCM's Research Ethics and Governance Committee will also be giving guidance and oversight on applications.
