A rise in adult social care fees is set to be discussed in Tynwald later this month.
The government says it would bring charges in line with income support benefit, which is set to go up following the budget.
Under the proposals, someone living in a nursing home would have to pay £1,107.96 per week to the Department of Health and Social Care, up from the current rate of £1,048.18.
If approved, the price rise will come into force from April 15.
