Emergency services had to rescue a motorist and a child this morning after a car crash near Maughold.
Fire crews, police and paramedics attended the scene on the Coast Road at 8.30am - the car had left the road and come to rest three metres down a bank.
The pair were trapped inside the vehicle - they were freed and then transported back onto the roadside using a ladder.
The driver was given medical attention at the scene with their injuries not thought to be serious.
The child in the vehicle was uninjured.
