Further investigations need to be carried out before the case against a pensioner accused of benefit fraud can progress.
69-year-old Jean Collette Matthews, of Glen Park Drive in Douglas, appeared before Magistrates at Douglas Courthouse on Thursday.
She's accused of three counts of making false representations to obtain benefits - the offences were allegedly carried out between September 2011 and October 2017.
A two-week adjournment was granted so more enquiries can be made - she'll next appear in court on October 11th.
