A Scottish rider taking part in his first TT has died following an incident earlier today (June 4).
26-year-old Adam Lyon, from Helensburgh, died in an accident at Casey's just after the 28th mile on the course on the third lap of the Supersport TT Race 1.
The news was confirmed by ACU Events Ltd this afternoon.
They have passed on their deepest sympathies to Adam's family and friends.
