The UK Ministry of Justice is expected to extend the appointment of the Island’s acting Attorney General.
That’s according to the Treasury Minister Eddie Teare who says John Quinn will remain in position for the time being.
Mr Quinn was appointed on March 18th last year after Stephen Harding was suspended whilst he faced a court case.
Onchan MHK Peter Karran claims government needs to be proactive in filling the position on a permanent basis.
However Mr Teare says things will remain the same for now:
