The Island’s Abortion Reform Bill has passed its second reading in the Legislative Council.
The leading majority of the upper branch in Tynwald voted in favour of Dr Alex Allinson’s bill.
Only the Island’s Lord Bishop Peter Eagles voted against the motion.
The next stage will see the bill go before LegCo to have its clauses scrutinised on Tuesday, June 26.
